Is it possible to change an order after it has been placed?
It is usually not possible to make changes once an order has been placed. Since we try to ship orders as quickly as possible, it is difficult to pull an order once it is submitted. However, you can contact customer service at customerservice@metalinkshop.com to ask for a change, and we will do our best to meet your request.

How can I cancel an order?

Can I carry Metal Ink clothing at my retail store?
If you own a brick-and-mortar retail store and would like to become a reseller of Metal Ink tees, please email our wholesale contact manager at pricilla@metalinkshop.com . Please know that we do not typically allow internet-based retailers to carry our line.

Can I come to your warehouse to buy shirts?
We welcome customers to buy directly from us at our warehouse! Just give us advance notice by emailing us at customerservice@metalinkshop.com to let us know when you are coming and we will give you directions. Sorry, but cash is not accepted so please bring a credit/debit card. Our warehouse is open from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday - Friday.

Can an order that was placed online be picked up at your warehouse?
All orders that were placed online must be shipped. Only if you place an order at our warehouse can you pick it up here. We are located at 6720 Wilson Ave Los Angeles CA 90001 and we are open from 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday - Friday. Sorry, but cash is not accepted so please bring a credit/debit card.

Most likely, we have already sent a reply to your email. Sometimes, emails from Metal Ink get filtered as spam or are completely blocked by providers. Check your spam folder to see if our reply to your email is there. To ensure that our emails reach your inbox, please whitelist emails from Metal Ink, or try sending from a different email address.
Please keep in mind that during periods of high demand, our customer service might be backed up. If you sent an email and haven\'t heard back from us, please give us a week before inquiring a second time.

When Will My Order Arrive?
Based on the shipping method you chose, you can calculate when your order will arrive. Keep in mind that the timeframes are estimates only and shipping time is based on when your order leaves our warehouse, not when you placed the order. Your order will be shipped via US Postal Service. Please allow 1 to 2 business days for processing of orders. Your order qualifies for free shipping with a subtotal of $70 or more (after discounts are applied).

What type of shirts do you use?
All of our tees are premium custom designed for the young tattoo graphic t-shirt market. Extra soft 30/S combed ring spun combed cotton fine jersey for men's tee. Super soft 40/S ring spun combed cotton fine jersey for women's. All t-shirts are made in Los Angeles USA at our sweatshop free in house sewing facility or our sweatshop free qualified contractors.

How do your shirts fit?
Our shirts are true to size. Our men's shirts are a hybrid of fashion fit and standard fit. Our women's shirts are fashion fit that's current with today's trend which is thin and little long.

How should I care for my Metal Ink tees?
We recommend that you machine wash warm on gentle cycle with like colors only and tumble dry low. If needed, use only non-chlorine bleach and warm iron.
Clothes made with cotton tend to shrink when washed. However, you can prevent shrinkage by washing in cold water and hanging to dry. If you want to shrink your shirt, wash in hot water and dry on the highest setting. In general, 100% cotton tees may experience shrinkage of 5-7% in both length and width after washing.

We employ screen-printing processes using plastisol inks, water-based inks, discharge ink and specialty inks.

How can I request a reprint?
We do not reprint tees on an individual basis. If a design receives a certain number of requests from the Metal Ink community, we will reprint it. In order to make sure you're alerted if one of your requests becomes reprinted, be sure to sign up for the Metal Ink e-newsletter. Please keep in mind that some designs may never be reprinted, which is in line with the Metal Ink ethos!

I just submitted a design but it isn't posted in the vote section yet. Why am I not seeing it?
All design submissions must first go through an internal screening process. If your design is accepted by the Metal Ink crew, it will be posted in the vote section of the website. You can expect to see your design within 24 to 72 hours (excluding weekends and holidays). You will receive an email notifying you if your design has been accepted or declined.

What is your preferred program for creating and resizing designs for submission to your site?
You can use any of the many different programs available to submit your artwork. We have no preference, so whatever you're comfortable with is fine by us. Some of the more popular and recommended software include Adobe, Illustrator and Photoshop.

How to submit your design
Everyone is welcome to submit a tee design, just by joining the Metal Ink community and clicking on the submit button. From there you will be able to read the instructions on how to submit a design. If you followed all of the rules and specs, your design will be posted on our site to be voted on. The Metal Ink community will score and comment on your design for a period of 60 days. The scores and comments will be the biggest factors in deciding which designs Metal Ink selects for printing. If necessary, our in-house design team will improve and modify your tattoo design to enhance it for printing on a t-shirt.

I'm a tattoo artist and I don't know how to use any computer graphic software. How do I submit my design?
You can simply submit your original sketch to us. First scan the original image by using a scanner, then follow the above instructions on how to submit. Our design team will then do the rest of the work, including computer graphic work that will enhance your design to make it fashionable and wearable. The final product will be a collaboration between you and us.

I'm not a tattoo artist. Can I still submit a design?
Yes, of course! We invite ANYONE interested in TATTOO ART to submit a design and participate in creating one-of-a-kind tees. It helps us if the design is in a graphic file. Some of the more popular and recommended software include Adobe, Illustrator and Photoshop. But of course, the most important thing to consider is the quality of the design. I dont have any tattoo on my body. Can I still submit photos for Maiden of the Month contest?
It will be nice to have tattoos but by wearing Metal Ink’s clothe also as good as having tattoos. Because metal ink clothes will make you look like you have tattoo. And that’s one of the reason why the Metal Ink is created for those people who can’t have tattoos on their body, now can wear the tattoos and be able to change them any time.

The winners will also be awarded with an in-depth feature on the Metal Ink site as well as publicity in the graphic design, tattoo art and fashion industries. Judging will be based on the strength of the artist's creative vision as well as the Metal Ink community's voting and feedback.
