5 Easy Steps to Participate:

Step 1: Create a tattoo design

Create tattoo art that you think will look good on a t-shirt. It can be a sketch, illustration, vector art or Photoshop art.

Step 2: Join the Metal Ink community

You must first be a member of the Metal Ink community before you can submit your design. Sign-up is fast, easy, and we promise not to bombard you with unwanted spam!

Step 3: Submit your design to Metal Ink

Submit your tattoo art or photo by using the "submit design". There you will find easy instructions to help you. If it's hand-drawn, you can scan it and send it.

Step 4: Voting & Scoring

Members of the Metal Ink community will score and comment on your design for a period of 60 days. Scores and comments will be the biggest factors in deciding which designs get selected for printing! But ultimately, the Metal Ink crew will make the final decision on which shirts get printed. To generate more excitement about your tattoo art and persuade your friends to vote for your design, we encourage you to post links to your submission on your website, blog, or profile on MySpace, Facebook, etc.!

Step 5: Selection & Design Modification

Winning designs will be selected based on scores and member feedback. If necessary, our in-house design team will modify and enhance your tattoo design to make a hot-selling tee!

Notification of Results

All designs will be screened and you will be notified by email if we accept or decline your design. If we decline your design, we state why so that you can submit a better one the next time!

If your design is selected for printing on tees, you will be notified by email. Selected designs may be altered, as stated above, and we will show you the final design before printing.

Winners of contests will be notified by email and awarded with a check or by PayPal.
